Here's How Jay Z Killed Kanye West's Over-The-Top Original Plan for 'Watch The Throne'
Big brother Jay Z put his foot down on Kanye West's original plan for Watch The Throne, former Grantland publisher David Cho reveals on the latest episode of ItsTheReal's A Waste of Time podcast. According to Cho, the rap duo had a big disagreement when it came to naming the track list. Ye originally wanted to include the n-word on every track title on the album, but Jay, on the other hand, did not.
"Jay wanted to call 'N*ggas in Paris' "Ball So Hard," and Kanye was like 'No,'" Cho claims. "We're gonna put the n-word in every single title on this album so everyone has to say it and they have to confront it," West said, according to Cho. Hov clearly won besides for WTT's biggest single. Is this how we got "N*ggas in Paris"? Was it based on a compromise?

On the media front, The Throne has had rocky relationship this past year. While on The Life of Pablo, Kanye called out Hov over TIDAL disputes and kid-related drama, but the two have reportedly rekindled their bromance at the beginning of 2017. Hopefully all is well because we need Watch the Throne 2 in our lives.
