Soulja Boy Apologizes to Chris Brown, But Is It Too Late?
Soulja Boy did the most in the past 24 hours. He started a beef with Chris Brown on Twitter, he agreed to a bizarre boxing match turned charity event, he took a trip to the hood, got bullied in the hood, and then became the butt of many memes and gifs. Whew! Now Soulja is finally giving up on the gangsta life and shared an apology video directed towards Breezy and fans about his recent behavior.
In the Twitter video, Soulja does his best to squash his many ongoing feuds, including his new highly publicized beef.
“I just want to send an apology. Over the past couple of months I’ve been acting out, I’ve been wilding out, and at the end of the day it’s not about who starts the beefs, it’s about who ends them,” he says in the video.
He also reveals that the major reason he's been acting out is because his mother was hospitalized. He reassures followers that she will be fine, but she wouldn't be proud of his recent actions. To prove that he’s serious about making peace, Soulja ends the video by trying to break bread with his enemies: “I want to make music with Chris Brown, Yachty, Quavo, everybody."
But it might be too late to raise the white flag. Boxer turned promoter for the Brown v Boy fight, Adrien Broner, took to Instagram (minutes after Soulja's apology video) to announce that their fight has been set for March. He captioned the post "It's going down in March they both getting prepared for the epic fight of the beginning of the year@chrisbrownofficial VS @souljaboy2017 Tickets will be available shortly.... I will let y'all know the location and specific date soon!!!!! #StayTuned #CeleberityBoxing#AboutBillionsPromotions #Cbreezy#Soulja," he wrote.
