'Martha & Snoop' Go Sweet and Savory for Their Holiday Recipes
You're in for a treat this week on Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party, literally. We're only a few hours away from the next episode and Martha Stewart is bringing the sweets while Snoop Dogg brings the savory. We've seen the duo tackle clams, Thanksgiving meals, even breakfast for dinner, but today it's dessert.
Martha has a delicious croquembouche recipe right on time for the holidays. Taking around two and a half hours to prep and cook, this one serving delight has three major components: pasty puffs, pastry cream, and topping it off with sweet caramel. Our sweet tooth is trembling.
Snoop, on the other hand, decided to opt out of the dessert situation and instead cook up a popular Southern dish of fried catfish and shrimp. Only taking 15 minutes to make, Uncle Snoop's dish serves 6 and features a secret recipe of Reo's dry mix, canola oil, 2 pounds of shrimp, and tartar sauce. It's the least he could do for special guest Jamie Chung after receiving this special gift.
