Katt Williams Was Arrested After a Seafoood Restaurant Showdown Went Left

Katt Williams is having a rough year.

The comedian was both choked out by a teenager and stomped out at a Beanie Sigel concert earlier this year, and last night, he was reportedly arrested in Atlanta.

TMZ is saying that Williams was arrested late Wednesday night after allegedly fighting with the staff of a seafood restaurant called Spondivits. Williams and his party supposedly seated themselves instead of waiting to be seated, which eventually led to an argument with Spondivits' manager.

"Katt allegedly settled matters by grabbing a salt shaker, chucking it at the manager and smashing him in the face," TMZ reports. "Cops say his lip was bleeding, and Katt had fled when they arrived."

TMZ says that Williams was arrested for "battery" and was released around 12:30 this morning. More to come as details emerge.
