Lil Kim, Havoc, and Fabolous Pay Homage to the Late Prodigy at 'Hip Hop Honors'
In case you didn't know, this is REAL hip hop, raw and uncut.
Queensbridge and Brooklyn were d-double-e-p in honor of Prodigy at VH1's Hip Hop Honors: The 90's Game Changers.
When you hear the rainfall and then the beat drop in the beginning of "Quiet Storm," your first thought is more than likely, "hot damn here we go again." Havoc of Mobb Deep went in on behalf of his brother Prodigy right before the Queen Bee passionately took the stage. Kim reminded us of the real hop hop ish that had this VH1 block party wildn' out in excitement. Earlier this year fans were devastated by the loss of the great Prodigy, but he would be proud to see how Fabolous gave it up in his honor.
Sit back and grab a glass of water because this performance is fire.
SIP Prodigy.
