The world was a completely different place back in 2007; MySpace was the go-to social network, you more than likely owned a flip phone and not a smartphone and a dance craze birthed by an unknown 16-year old took America completely over both on and offline. One of the millions and millions of people who were caught up in the hysteria that was Soulja Boy's "Crank That," was Hailie Jade Mathers, daughter or Grammy award winning rapper Eminem.
Hailie was just 11 years old when the song and dance caught fire, but that didn't stop Marshall's little girl from full participation. For this week's #TBT we cranked up (no pun intended), a vintage RapFix Live clip which not only features 50 Cent, but future 'Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood' star Soulja Boy as well. Check out 50 describing the scene of a young Hailie practicing the dance in unison with her cohorts and find out Soulja's reaction after learning his homemade hit made it all the way inside the Mather's household.
