Cobra of 'Black Ink Crew: Chicago' Has Fully Embraced Her Curves In These Photos and We Are So Here For It

"You are the keeper of your own future."

Throughout this season of Black Ink Crew: Chicago we've learned of Cobra's issues with self-love. We're very relieved to see her now as this confidant and radiant woman.

The 9 Mag artist took to Instagram to share some vulnerable photos of herself, unapologetically captioning her new outlook on life. She posted an important message of loving thyself below and well, swipe left to see pictures.

Its all about the “big picture” ... empty barrels make the loudest noise.... love thy self. Don’t let any one else get you where you need to be but you. You are the keeper of your own future. @jessegreene_ thank you for getting me to really understand that. ❤️ #blackink #blackinkcrewchicago #blackinkcrewnewyork #vh1 #certifiedcustoms #denver #houston #newyork #bbw #plussize

She also posted the following pic previously:

I took this picture shortly coming home from filming Black ink crew Chicago s2 . I was so insecure about seeing myself the biggest I've ever been, on tv for the first time. I had panic attack and had self destructing thoughts. It wasn't until I got with @jessegreene_ and forced my self to do a risky shoot. This day was huge for me . I finally just said fuck it . Why must I hate the body I'm in when I love the woman in it. I get called fat by so many people... and to be honest I could care less any more. I've grown to love my self and the skin I'm in. To all the women dealing with body issues, start listening to your heart and soul telling you how beautiful you are. #natural #bbw #biggirlsrule #callmefat #fatgirl #lover #blackinkcrewchicago #blackinkcrew #vh1 #9mag #cobra #cobralightning #cobrafamily #vans #vansgirl #vansskatebording #skateordie #vansoldskool #vansshoes

While playing house with newbie Lily, Cobra shared deep feelings with her about not always feeling beautiful. Cobra has also previously opened up to Don and Ryan about battles with mental health and depression. After an incident where members of the shop appeared to be bullying Cobra, Don intervened in defense of Cobra and his sister who he revealed also battles with similar feelings. Since then, a clean slate has been offered as Charmaine since apologized for her behavior towards Cobra.

Now, the gang is one big happy family and it's refreshing to see Cobra basking in her own beauty, as she should! Keep it up Cobra, happiness looks even more beautiful on you.

In this heartfelt Black Ink Crew: Chicago highlight, Cobra opens up about her struggles with depression.
