Taylor Swift brought out special guest Alanis Morissette at a 1989 World Tour show in Los Angeles on Monday night. The two did a duet of Alanis' hit "You Oughta Know," and though it all appeared to be in good fun, Chloe Melas of The Gossip Table thinks otherwise.
When Katy Perry was named Woman of the Year by Billboard in 2012, she said the following of Alanis: "Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morissette, every single song struck a chord, an emotional chord inside of me."
After Taylor brought out Alanis in concert earlier this week, fans got on social media to suggest that the bad breakup duet they sang was a continuation of Taylor's supposed bad blood with Katy. It could be shade or it could just be that everyone loves Alanis' Jagged Little Pill album.
Either way, it's #PettyWapWednesday.
