Katy Perry's New Song Suggests She's Not Done Throwing Shade at Taylor Swift

We're not sure if this is a diss song or a straight up venting session, but one thing seems abundantly clear: Katy Perry has a lot to get off her chest.

The "Dark Horse" singer teamed up with Nicki Minaj for a new single called “Swish Swish,” and the lyrics seem to be a direct reply to Taylor Swift's industry rally cry "Bad Blood". Lines like, "Your game is tired / You should retire / You're 'bout cute as an old coupon expired" are hard to ignore, and fans are speculating that T. Swift is the target.

Aside from the not-so-subtle lyrics, Katy's choice of Nicki as a collaborator strikes us as more than coincidence. Both artists have had their gripes with Ms. Swift, but Katy and Taylor's beef has conjured up hella controversy over the years (accusing "someone" of stealing your backup dancers is a sure fire way to get the pot stirred.)

Thankfully for Taylor, she's got an extremely vocal ally in Ruby Rose, who set it off on Twitter on behalf of her homie. The former Orange Is The New Black star got an earful of Katy’s new tune and came out swinging. "I just think with everything going on in the world to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low.. is.. a bummer," she says in one tweet.
