Johnny Depp's Daughter and Former Partner Come to His Defense With Written Letter
Johnny Depp's 17-year-old daughter and long-term partner and mother of his 2 children Vanessa Paradis are speaking out in defense of the actor after his estranged wife Amber Heard made shocking allegations of ongoing domestic abuse in court filings on Friday.
His daughter Lily-Rose Depp took to Instagram to defend her father with a throwback of the two and the caption, "My dad is the sweetest, most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
Lily's mother Vanessa Paradis also refuted Heard's domestic violence allegations with a handwritten letter, according to TMZ. She reportedly calls Heard's claims "outrageous," adding, "In all the years I have known Johnny, he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years."
Johnny Depp has still not issued a public statement to address the allegations, but in response to Heard's request for a temporary restraining order on Friday, Depp's lawyer said that Heard is "attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse."
