Ryan Henry's Newest Shop Manager, Brittany Slam, May Be Just What He Needs to Get 9 Mag Up & Running Again
It's about time 9 Mag gets it together again.
Ryan Henry and his shop have been filtering through employees left and right but with his newest manager, he may find the peace he's been hoping for. Following the explosive season five finale of Black Ink Crew: Chicago, Kat's allegations, and eventual departure Ryan cleaned shop by firing everyone he once called family to start fresh.
With Junior on timeout for that big brawl that went down in Jamaica with their now-rivals Loyal Ink, Ryan had to hire someone to help get his new shop up and running and that someone is Brittany Slam.
Within five minutes of meeting her, we already see she plays zero games. Who is this focused, no bulls--t boss, you might ask? Well...
She is a professional body piercer.
Don recently became a piercer but Brittany has been doing this for years. Everyone who is anyone knows that if you want the perfect dermal placement, you need to get slammed by Brittany. From nipples to noses, Brittany is well-versed in bringing body modifications and her artistic vision together. She has pierced celebrities such as Lil Uzi, Lil Scrappy, Stalley, and Young Thug.
She's a native New Yorker.
Born in New York, Brittany landed her first apprenticeship at One Stroke Tattoo, now known as Think Before You Ink in Queens, NY. After a year and a half of hard work, Brittany took her talents to Atlanta where she became a "dripping star" at City of Ink. For eight months, Brittany traveled between New York and ATL to keep up with her ever-growing clientele and now, she's leveling up the level up in Chi-Town.
She is tat-tat-tatted up.
Brittany got her first tattoo for her 18th birthday and has since become a canvas of amazing artwork. Not to mention, she makes for a dope ass model.
She's the godmother to Stalley's precious baby girl.
Rapper Stalley's daughter Kylie is Brittany's widdle baby! Best friends with Kylie's mom, Aiesha Arab, when she's not piercing, Brittany takes her God-mommy duties very seriously.
She is fun AF!
Don't expect any drama when it comes to Brit. She is fun-loving, hardworking, and she gets the job done. If it doesn't involve business, laughter, or friends who are family, don't even waste her time.
Hopefully she is exactly what Ryan Henry needs to get it together 'cause chile, he could use the help.
