'Love & Hip Hop: The Tea' Got the 411 From 'The Shade Room''s Angie Nwandu on This Week's Episode!

After the crew recapped the second episode of Love & Hip Hop, they brought out Angie to dish on the latest. Here are the top takeaways from their exclusive interview!
"The Shade Room was like an accident that went right."
Angie explained that she didn't initially set out to create The Shade Room. She was just an aspiring writer who loved to gossip with her girls about the latest situationship between Chris Brown, Rihanna and Karrueche! One day her friends suggested that she create the website, and the rest was #Roommate history!
"It's like your auntie's house on the holidays. When you go to your auntie's house on the holidays, all the tea is gonna be spilled!"
While there's plenty of mess on The Shade Room, Angie doesn't want her writers to be mean. She's just presenting the stories as is, and the drama writes itself. I mean, have you SEEN the comments section lately? TEA.
"I know Lyrica. I went to her baby shower."
Angie is actually friends with Love & Hip Hop Hollywood's Lyrica Anderson. She celebrated with the Bentleys at their baby shower, giving her a personal connection to baby Ocean Zion. When asked about #BabyBentley's new Instagram that solely features a promo for Lyrica's album, Angie said she can't knock the hustle! She's got a kid to feed now, after all! 🤷♀️
"I like Safaree, but I feel like he's thirsty because he just wanna be everywhere, he wanna be seen!"
From hinting to his past with Nicki Minaj to his mysteriously released dick pic, Safaree seems to stay in the conversation. While Angie admittedly likes Safaree, she can't help but acknowledge the evident thirst in the room. The man is all body oil and baby rumors! Oh, and she definitely thinks he and Erica Mena are dating.
"The [Shade Room] app is done!"
... It's just not out yet! Angie explained that they're trying to make sure the release is juuuuust right for all you #Roommates out there. So keep an eye out, because it should be coming soon enough!
