Since we first met Evelyn in the first season of Basketball Wives, she's been very open about wanting more children and her journey to expand her family. But now that she's called off her engagement with Carl Crawford, she has to make a tough choice about what to do with the fertilized eggs from her IVF process during their relationship.

Since she will probably never get back with Carl, there's no need to keep the embryos. While discarding them or putting them up for adoption are both options, Evelyn has struggled with fertility for so long, so it's difficult to part with them under any circumstance. The emotional and physical stress of going through three rounds of IVF between shots, doctor's appointments, and so much hope is understandably very trying for her as well. The ups and downs of life resulted in a different outcome than what was expected, but Evelyn is so fortunate to have her loving daughter and adorable son.
