Since the COVID-19 pandemic, Rasheeda and Kirk have been under pressure to keep their businesses and streams of revenue flowing, but with multiple family members in need of help and her kids arguing while working at Frost Bistro & Bar, Rasheeda is doing her best to maintain the ever-growing family empire.

His relationship with Rasheeda's mother, Shirleen, remains tense as he continues to navigate family life and strives to be an exemplary husband, father and grandfather. Kirk and Rasheeda have been blessed in their business endeavors, leading to plenty of requests for assistance from their family members, including Shirleen. His son Kirk Jr.'s arrest inspired Kirk take a more active role in his family to correct his daughter Kelsie's entitlement, end the sibling fighting at Frost Bistro & Bar and bring fire back to his romance with Rasheeda.
