Jordin Sparks Has Been Secretly Married for Months, But That's Not Her Only Big Announcement!

Big news, y'all! And I mean like, really big. Secret wedding and pregnancy announcement at the same time, big.

In an interview with People, Jordin Sparks announced that she secretly married her boyfriend Dana Isaiah, in mid-July. That's months ago!

The pair began dating earlier this year after their moms put them in touch (which is such a mom thing to do, TBH). It wasn't exactly a set up--Dana's mom was trying to convince him not to move to L.A., but apparently Jordin wasn't very convincing.

The American Idol alum told People, “A couple days after we had actually met, I was like in my head ‘That’s going to be my husband! That’s my husband right there,'” Jordin said of her new hubby. "When I’m with him, I feel comfort and safety and calm and peace, and those aren’t things that I normally felt. So it was a little wake-up call for me."

The pair eloped on July 16th while in Hawaii, and somehow managed to keep it quiet.

And as if that news wasn't enough for us, the couple is taking it one step further by also announcing that the couple is expecting their first child! They found out in late August, calling it a huge (but really exciting) shock. "It’s been really crazy because everything changes. Once we got over the initial shock of it, now again just like it is with the marriage, to be able to share that this amazing thing is happening, it’s such a great thing. We did this together!"

Sparks, who had some high-profile breakups with Sage the Gemini and Jason Derulo, wasn't looking for love when she meet Dana, but we're certainly glad that she found it!

After a little Insta-stalking, I've come to the conclusion that we have just been ignoring Jordin's ring finger. I mean, see seems to be sporting her wedding ring in more than a few of these pictures.

I just want to say that I forgive you for not telling us, Jordin. Mostly because the news of a secret wedding and baby on the way is just too sweet! Congratulations on your new little family!
