Rihanna's DMs Encouraging a Fan to Come out of the Closet Are Above and Beyond

Crying.

Rihanna has officially taken artist-fan relationships to the next level.

Not only is she starring in an upcoming documentary about her glamorous self and putting together an entire makeup line for a 2017 release, Rihanna is touring the world. Your fave is busy as hell—flexing her pipes, showing off her moves and breaking hearts (mainly Drake's)—but that doesn't mean she doesn't have time for her fans.

Rihanna has been connecting with her fans more as of late—and on an extremely personal level. RiRi has reportedly been helping one fan in particular come out of the closet. Buzzfeed reports that the singer has been offering endless support to a fan, encouraging him to come to terms with his sexuality via what looks like a series of Twitter DMs. See some of the awe-inspiring exchanges the two have had here.

The fan, who wishes to remain anonymous, revealed these messages to Buzzfeed directly. "The fan told BuzzFeed it’s been hard for him to come out as a gay black man, but Rihanna’s messages have helped him realize that he shouldn’t be ashamed of who he is," Buzzfeed says, adding that the fan hopes to have fully come out by July, when he will meet Rihanna for the first time.

In a world where Justin Bieber cancels fan meet and greets because they "drain" him and Beyonce essentially refuses to speak to anyone anymore, Rihanna has set a new precedent. She has gone above and beyond for her Navy and it's absolutely beautiful.

Don't let her Instagram handle fool you. Bad Gal RiRi is an angel.
